Life on the edge of the final frontier is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Starfleet Command has ordered the crew of Deep Space 12 to launch a reconnaissance mission deep into the heart of perceived Interstellar Coalition territory. Their mission: to uncover as much information as they can on this new enemy to the Federation. While risky, many believe that this is an easy mission for an experienced crew. The only problem is when an unexpected malfunction cripples the ship in the middle of hostile territory, can the crew work together to escape?

At the same time Galatea, Artificial Intelligence for the Enterprise, is under investigation for her past actions. Accused of violating Federation Law and the Starfleet Code of Military Justice, the hologram has been removed from the ship for trial and is at risk of being permanently decompiled.
