"Okay Paddy, were here." Zoey called out, with a tone of excitement in her voice. She was eager to get this night started. Was holding onto his hand, as they stood at the doorway of the holodeck.

“Patton smiled at her and requested the program he had set up earlier. He smiled at Zoey. “Ready for a night in the bright lights of New York City?”

As they walked into the holodeck they were standing outside a fancy restaurant. Patton smiled at her. Dinner then dancing.”

"New York City, never been there. This should be interesting." Zoey said, with a big grin on her face. "Dinner and dancing sounds nice." Zoey suggested with a grin, she held out her hand, for him to take and escort her inside.

“I have been there a few times,” Patton admitted as he took her hand. “There is a lot to see, they have beautiful falls, a wax museum that is really cool and theatres, exclusive dining and dancing as well. You feel the excitement in the air when you are there.”

"Well lead the way, I am eager to learn more." Zoey said, with a big cheesy grin on her face. She was looking forward, to taking a tour of New York City with Patton. She had no idea, what to expect.

Patton took her hand and they were suddenly walking down a sidewalk in New York. “What kind of food are you hungry for?” He asked her with a smile. “They have a restaurant for about anything.”

"No idea, lets just go to the first one we find, and try it out." Zoey suggested with a big grin on her face. She knew nothing of New York, so she had no idea, what type of foods they would offer. She would be exploring the cuisines of New York with him for the first time. She decided to let fate to test out what food they were going to eat.

“There is a Mexican restaurant over there,” Patton pointed. “Or an Italian next door. Tacos or pasta?”

"Let fate decide for us, or what ever door we stumble upon first." Zoey said, as they started to make their way over to the two doors. Which door, would they gravitate towards.

Patton walked beside her, there were people walking in both directions down the walkway. Suddenly they were in front of the Italian restaurant. “It looks like our choice was made.”

"So it is." Zoey said, with a big grin on her face. "Minestrone Soup sounds good with some bread sticks and maybe a toss salad as well." Zoey grinned, as she started to think about devouring a good bowl of minestrone soup.

“I am leaning towards lazagna,” Patton replied. “It has been a long time but I admit the soup sounds good as well.”

"Good choice, but its the soup, all about the soup." Zoey suggested to him, with a big grin on her face. The idea of the soup, was making her mouth savor in anticipation.

Patton loved how expressive she was, her happiness was infectious. He smiled. “I am so happy to be here with you.”

"I would hope so, imagine if one of us was not happy." Zoey said, taking a little stab at Jasmine. She was a little stuck up snob. Blowing off her man like that. And treating him poorly.

"Not possible," Patton said with a smile. "I have never felt for any woman the way I feel for you." He took her hand in his. "That sounds like a line that men use but it is the truth."

"It is a line that men have used, but hearing you saying it, does not sound like a line at all." Zoey said, with love struck eyes.

“That’s good to hear,” Patton smiled at her. “I have looked forward all day to this time with you.”

"Me too baby, me too." Zoey said, as she stared into his eyes. "We should probably jump to the dinner part of the program." Zoey pointed out to him. She did not want to miss out on the food.

“Yes,” Patton agreed. “I have a plate of lazagna with my name on it.” He spoke to the matrade and they were seated off to a side.

The program jumped forward, and they both had their meals in front of them. "This looks amazing, the presentation of this program is remarkable." Zoey pointed out to him. This was a lovely date.

“It smells wonderful,” Patton said as he picked up his fork. “I hope your soup is good.”

"It's amazing, than you so much for bringing me here." Zoey said, as she took another bite. The replicator, had done a remarkable job with the taste and texture of the soup.

“I wanted to do something that I felt we would both enjoy,” Patton confessed. “But also show you that you mean a lot to me and that I want us both to be happy.”

"Well I appreciate the effort." Zoey said, with a big grin on her face. She loved the fact, he was spending all of his effort on her, and not on the dryless, emotionless waste known as Jasmine Haynes. Something about her, just rubbed her the wrong way. And it was more than the fact, that she was rejecting her man. Which she was grateful for. She knew he deserved a real women.

“You are worth it,” Patton said with a smile. “I am looking forward to showing you Niagra Falls, they are beautiful at night.”

"Why are we standing around, lets go." Zoey said, thinking about the possibility of being near a waterful, under the starlight night, and the romantic kiss scene that comes next, in a picture perfect fairy tale dates.

Patton took her hand. "Let's head out then." They walked along the sidewalk towards the sound of rushing water. "I can't wait for you to see them. They are amazing!"

"Alright." Zoey said, as she allowed him to lead the way. She could hear the water, getting louder and louder. She heard the water clashing against the rocks, and other objects. Even though she could not see it, it sounded amazing.

Patton kept glancing over at her as they got closer. He wanted to see her expression when she saw them. They turned a corner and crossed the street and there in front of them was the falls, lit up with lights. He smiled at the look on her face. "It's indescribable." he said quietly. "Beautiful and dangerous at the same time."

"Yes it is an amazing site to see." Zoey said, as she squeezed his hand tightly. She could feel the gentle wind breeze and mist drops hitting her face. As she looked around the waterfalls.

"When I first came here my brother and I wanted to jump off and go down the falls," Patton said with a grin. "Until we read about all the people who died going over it." He shook his head. "We were young and foolish."

"I heard, a person went down this fall, in a barrel. Why? would anyone want to jump off this fall? Please help me understand why Paddy." Zoey asked, trying to grasp the reason, why anyone would want to jump off the falls.

"It sounds plain crazy doesn't it," Patton replied with a shake of his head. "I have no idea why. I mean when we were kids it was just the thrill of doing it. We were always trying dangerous things. I could tell you stories all night long about the foolish things we did but as an adult..." He paused for a moment. "I think some people never grow up, they want to prove they are the baddest and some just love the thrill of danger, of trying something that they know could kill them. It seems pretty stupid but that is my theory."

"Boys, and the silly ideas that pop into their heads. If we ever have kids, please make sure our boy never does that!" Zoey said, shaking her head in disbelief.

“I know all the tricks,” Patton assured her. “They won’t get by with any of it with us.”

"Good." Zoey said, as she leaned in for a kiss, as they kissed the scene starts to fade away.
