Acting Captain’s Personal Log, Supplemental Entry:

It has been less than a day since Admiral Coulson set off on a renegade mission to Romulan Space to investigate a distress call he’d received from an old friend. Starfleet One has been tasked with stopping him from bringing war to the entire Quadrant, but I’m afraid that he has one Hell of a head start on us. Not only did he disable the Federation Outpost on New Vulcan, reports are now suggesting that he has crossed the border into Romulan territory already and is on course for the homeworld.

I just hope that we can catch up. After an unexplained engine imbalance we were pulled into an unstable wormhole. We have been able to escape its clutches with only minor damage, but we have to recover our crew and repair our damage before we can get back on the road. I don’t know what waits for us when we reach Ni’Var, but I can only hope that we don’t arrive to find ourselves already in the middle of a war that will bring the entire Quadrant to its knees.
