Urvasi brushed her hair in the mirror of her quarters on board the transport bound for the USS Enterprise. She still was not sure how she full felt when she saw the assignment that had reached its way to her. She had just completed almost four years on an Akira Class Battle Cruiser for the Federation right after Academy graduation, and now, she was on her way to a celebrated heavy cruiser that also happened to be the storied USS Enterprise.

She paused brushing her hair as she looked deeply at herself in the mirror. Her olive green eyes stared right back at her. She turned her muzzle one way, then the other, noting her single Vulpinoid marks on either side of her muzzle as well as her twenty two whiskers on either side of her muzzle, four of which were her long signature whiskers called mystacial vibrissae creating spatial vibrational mapping of her immediate surroundings. She looked closely at her forehead where the four short whiskers emerged from the upper outer areas of her eye sockets that were her ground vibrational senses for nearby prey or predator location.

Urvasi wiggled her muzzle whiskers, her eyebrows, and then her ears. She could watch and see all of the seen 'words' that flowed in her Vulienrey sight-body language. Her smile brightened, and then she yiffered gently in humor. She was trying to pick up any cues of angst or flustering within her body's language, but she was finding none. So, she figured that feeling wonderment and awe in getting on board such a prestigious Starship was the norm. Well, at least, for her, she was definitely not really fully believing it yet. Well, when she go there, when she got there.

She glanced at the time, stood up, then sat right back down. No, she was not on duty. She was actually a passenger for a change, told to relax before getting to her next assignment. After all, when on duty, it was always periods of preparedness punctuated by periods of sheer actions because of results with reactions to those occurring actions. No, it was best to enjoy time not having to be constantly prepared.

Of course, like anyone used to serving on starships, that downtime was hard to do, to embrace, to enjoy. Urvasi stood up and backed away from the mirror. She looked over her form and figure, liking what she was seeing. She had managed to keep a very nice form and figure despite having grown to be on the taller side for her Race. Being 1.7 meters tall meant she was 8 cm taller than than average for ladies. She sat back down and brought her tail around.

She found the vibration hairs in her tail fur. The were thicker, stiffer, courser, but yet could pick up such delicate vibrations. She had the same whiskers in her wrist fur and ankle fur. So far, though, no one had ever really noticed. Maybe she did as she knew about them, and worried they went against her beauty in the sight of others. Maybe it was just a female worry. She shook herself and let her tail fall back behind her. It began its involuntary gentle sweeping side to side in tune with her mood and thoughts.

She snorted out in humor at her dress. She was in a green patterned sundress with a green garden hat nearby. She was planning on going to have breakfast, then go to the holodeck to enjoy some lounging at a park, then go leaping among the trees. She reached under her sundress to verify yes, she was in a skort. She remembered just yesterday that some other people being transported on this vessel had wandered into her holosuite and watched her in the tree road. She overhead some of the remarks about her panties and decided to prevent such peeping in the future, hence the skort.

Glancing at the time, she noticed it was 6:37. Her breakfast time was 7. She realized she had stopped thinking about wondering if she would even measure up to the Austere Enterprise to relaxing with breakfast and outings. That was probably a good thing. Standing up, she shook herself slightly as she snorted a cleansing breath through her nostrils. Feeling more herself, she grabbed her hat and sashayed out the door while thinking about what she would have for breakfast. The switch on her personal recorder turned off, another entry done for the morning.
