The Enterprise has made contact with the Uleon, a species that have recently resettled their homeworld after a devastating war nearly destroyed their species. The leaders of the world have extended an invitation to the Enterprise crew to attend a museum exhibition celebrating the planet's unique history, but when evidence of a temporal incursion is detected, the Enterprise must stop a thief from the future that only strikes a planet before its population is destroyed.
