Mission:
Atlantis
Location: Bridge, Starfleet One
Timeline: 2429-12-04, 12:00
Admiral William Teagarden stepped through the door and onto the Bridge of Starfleet One, seeing that most of the Senior Staff had already arrived. A smile played on his lips as he saw his gathered crew and a newcomer on the Bridge. Walking around the upper tier workstations he approached his chair. "Nice to see you, Commander Viol."
The Atlantean woman, having been transferred to their custody for handling the Preserver crisis, nodded, "It's nice to be here, Admiral. Although I am still unsure why I was spared by your people."
"We firmly believe in second chances, Commander, and we like to ensure that people have a chance to have them. Fortunately the Prefect was able to see our perspective on that," William answered the question, knowing that it would open up more questions. In reality several members of his crew had even come forward with objections to their actions of saving Commander Viol - which he had logged as required. He would deal with the fallout if there were any. For now he was more interested in the journey home.
"I think we've spent more than enough time at this replica Earth," he said observing the viewscreen. "Let's head back to the real one. Any objections?"
Patton agreed, the sooner they got out of here the better. He simply nodded in agreement and waited to see if anyone thought they should stay.
"None here, Admiral." Commander Randall responded. "Standard warp? Or, do we take the shortcut to grandma's house?" She asked, in reference to the coaxial drive.
Even though getting home as quickly as possible would be welcome, William knew they pushed the Coaxial Drive hard to get here. "Warp 9, Commander," William ordered from his chair.
"Coordinates for Earth input into navigational computer, warp 9 ready to engage Commander. Waiting on your mark sir," T'Lisha said smilimg. "Home to Earth and a good hamburger and fries," she added.
William smiled, "Engage."
