Melly walked quietly down the stark white corridors with her escort at the penal colony. Her eyes were lowered obediently and she was happier than she normally was as the guards escorted her around the corner and to the holodeck. The Counselor was waiting and ushered Melly through the archway before undoing her restraints.
"Little One. You're not going to be happy, but this is a needed thing. Like when we spoke of the random encounter. So please just understand you need this done.", the Counselor said with a smile.
Tilting her head Melly looked up at the woman, "I have a feeling I won't be happy..."
"You need to do it. So let's take it slow. I am going to be starting a hologram of Admiral Norith.", the Counselor put a hand to Melly's shoulder as she looked up, panicking slightly. "The hologram will not move or speak to you. I want you to just vent out all the pain you have, scream, yell, but do not strike him. You're better than that."
Melly held to the Counselors side and clung to her but felt a pat on her shoulder from the older woman.
"Computer. Activate Program Melly 2.", the Counselor said and the tall older Admiral appeared in the middle of the holodeck. "Now go Little One. No hitting, just use your words. Get it all out of you. I know no matter what you say nothing will make all the pain go away. I just want you to let some of it vent out. So you don't let it all eat you alive."
Hugging to the Counselor the smaller girl slowly let go and timidly walked a distance from the holographic Admiral. The hologram did not move, didn't blink, nothing. But he looked like the Admiral, he was tall and scary, he even smelled like him. Maybe this was in her head, maybe it was part of the program, but she could smell him. She looked
to his hands, they were calloused and wethered. She knew those hands all too well. Her eyes slowly scanned up his body and looked at his face. His face was clean shaven and his hair was well kept and graying. Slowly looking down the man from his head slowly down and down until she looked to his boots. Smooth and shiny, just as always..
"Are you okay Little One?", the Counselor asked.
Melly nodded and walked a bit closer. She kept at least a meter away from him and looked him in the eyes.
"You're a meanie..", Melly whimpered.
The hologram said nothing.
Finding the hologram not responding made Melly feel slightly more confident.
"You.. hurt me.", Melly began. "You hit me so many times.. I can't look at a daisy anymore, due to you.."
She began to look at her feet then glared up as tears welled, "You made me feel bad.. dirty.. filthy.. I took so many sonic showers.. I went to the holodeck and took water showers. You.. You just won't wash off me, I made the water so hot I had to go to Sickbay from burns! I can't wash the feel.. the smell of you off. When I am laying curled up on the floor at night I feel your eyes watching me sleep. You did this to me, you did this to others.. but I won't be like them. I won't go to the next girl and threaten them for you. I won't be like all those people you introduced me to. I'm not bad.. I'm..."
Melly stopped her eyes full of tears as she stared at the hologram's torso. She could almost imagine all the stabs she put in him. "I'm.."
Dropping to her knees she looked down at her right hand and swung it around to strike herself hard in the face with a loud audible smack, then another, and another, with each smack she said aloud, "Bad. Bad. Bad."
The Counselor was swiftly over and grabbed Melly around the arms forcing her hand so she stopped hitting herself, "Stop Little One, stop right this very instant. Hurting yourself won't change what happened. Hurting yourself is the bad thing, not you. You're strong and a good girl. He is a bad man."
The Counselor gently rocked Melly as she sobbed hard against the 'older' woman, the Napean feeling all the hurt and emotions with her empathic abilities. "Calm down Little One, I have you. He won't hurt you."
She let Melly cry it out for a good ten minutes of non stop sobbing. Once the sobbing stopped the Counselor gave a gentle hug and then whispered in Melly's ear, "Little One, go give him one good whap, use your hand. Then we will be done."
Melly nodded weakly and rose on wobbly legs, carefully she walked to the hologram and looked up at the man. Seeing his hip where her cheek would be pressed so often she took a deep breath and balled up her fist. Reach up she punched him hard as she could square in the nethers then walked back to the Counselor.
"Good Girl Little One. Now step outside and wait with the guard.", the Counselor carefully placed the restraints on the small girl's feet and hands. With a hug she shooed the girl out to wait with the guard. Once the door closed the Counselor turned and looked to the Hologram, "Computer. I want a Varon-T disruptor."
The disruptor appeared in the hand of the Counselor. Glaring at the man she aimed and fired. Slowly from the inside the man began to disintegrate from the molecular level and slowly outward. The hologram did not move but she relished in the potentially painful way that the hologram would have died if a real person.
"Computer, delete Program Melly 2, delete the disruptor as well.", the Counselor said as she turned and walked out to lead Melly off to her cell.
Sitting in an observation room, a woman hit a few keys on her keyboard while watching the Counselor. "Naughty, naughty Tavera. This won't stand."
