| Description | The Admiral's Dining Room is a private reception area located along the forward bulkhead of Deck One of Starfleet One. Comprising three compartments and an attached rest room, the Admiral's Dining Room has been designed for comfort. The main compartment features a large table capable of seating six persons comfortably and is directly parallel to artifacts related to the history of vessels named Enterprise - including the wheel and compass of the sailing vessel Enterprise, on loan from the Starfleet Museum. Adjacent to these compartments the port wall features a small bar area that has been loaded with both alcoholic and syntholic beverages for the Admiral's guests. The starboard wall features a small sitting area for guests. The floor of the Dining Room has been retrofitted with ancient pines common on sailing vessels of the 19th Century on Earth. Under current standing orders the Bridge Crew are permitted to take their meals while on duty in the Admiral's Dining Room except for in situations where the Admiral is entertaining a guest in the room. |
