| Description | Due to the importance of the mission of Starfleet One the Executive Officer (XO) frequently needs to be close to the Bridge either day or night. Located on Deck One, the XO's Ready Room has been designed to incorporate both relaxation and work space for the XO of Starfleet One and is based upon the cabin design for Senior Officers aboard the ship. Compartment One features the XO's Desk. This desk features built in library computer access and priority linkages with the command functions of the vessel. Directly adjacent, below the window, is a sitting area for the XO to use when meeting with guests or for relaxation. Compartment Two is mainly used as a strategic space for planning and briefing actions involving small groups. The table has a built in holoprojector that can be used for communications or to simulate tactical operations. Additionally, the XO may use this room for dining purposes when privacy is needed. Compartment Three is a sealed compartment that provides the XO with a bedroom for his use during emergency situations where he cannot be far from the Bridge. A private restroom is adjacent including a sonic shower unit. |
