Zoey took his hand, as they left for the dance floor. She had no danced in some time. But she was looking forward to the chance to dance again. Zoey allowed Paddy to lead, she was curious to see what he could do. Plus it was common knowledge to let men lead.

Patton took her in his arms and smoothly led her across the floor in a slow dance. “I have asked them for some music that is a little more upbeat but this song was a request for a couple celebrating sixty years of marriage.” He whispered.

"I don't mind slow dancing with you." Zoey said, as she moved her hands into the correct placement, to slow dance with him. Her eyes were filled with passion.

“It has its advantages,” Patton’s eyes lit with passion. “I get to hold you like this and dance the night away.”

"Keep talking, you sexy charmer." Zoey said, as she pulled him close to her, and layed her head on his chest. Listening to his heart beat.

“When I’m with you like this,” Patton said softly. “I know what really being happy means. It’s sharing your life with the person you care most about.”

Zoey could not take it, she leaned up to his face and kissed him passionately. She was caught up in the moment. Allowing her expressions to be told from her soft and delicate lips.

Patton kissed her back, his own passion taking over. He knew it was going to be a special date and he wanted to express how much he cares about her.

Zoey forced herself, to take a step back. "Okay, we should probably calm down. A little bit." Zoey said, as she desperately wanted to kiss him again. The pull of her urges, were strong.

Patton smiled at her. "You're right! I lost track of myself for a moment, caught up in my feelings for you." He held out his hand. "Let's get something to drink and watch for a bit."

Zoey could not flip the switch that fast. She still wanted to make out. But she admired him for being strong enough, to moderate them. "Okay."Zoey said, as took his hand.

Patton smiled at her. "I'll be honest, the last thing I wanted to do was quit kissing you and I knew the only way would be to get off the floor and sit for a bit. When we're dancing I want to hold you close and show you how I feel."

"There is a time and a place for that." Zoey suggested to him, but leaving her comment open ended. To make him think a little. She wanted him to think, about it for a bit. She loved teasing him.

Patton smiled in return. “You are right, there is a time and place for making love.” His eyes lit up as he leaned forward and kissed her. “But whenever we are off duty I will show my affection.”

"Don't make promises you can not keep." Zoey suggetested to him, with big eyes filled with anticipation and excitement.

“I intend to keep it,” Patton returned. “I want everyone to know how much I care about you.”

"Everyone huh?" Zoey asked, a little surprised.

“I care a lot about you and it isn’t something I want to hide,” Patton paused. “Am I moving too fast for you? Are you not ready for your friends and coworkers to know about is?”

"We need to give people time to accept this, most of the crew expect you to still be chasing after Jasmine, even though its clear she has a new love interest." Zoey pointed out. They had damage control to think of.

“Okay,” Patton said after a moment of thinking. “I can see your point and it does make sense.”

"Good, so leave all of your chasing to me. I have a tendency of getting jealous." Zoey suggested, with a playful grin on her face. She showed she was teasing, but there was some truth in her words.

“My eyes are for you,” Patton said with a smile. “I don’t have interest in chasing anyone but you.”

"Good, keep it that way." Zoey said, with a big grin on her face, as the scene starts to fade away.
