U.S.S. Courageous
	The U.S.S. Courageous was one of the first three Dauntless Class Starships constructed and was one of the first vessels in Starfleet to be built with a fully functional Quantum Slipstream Drive. Due to this distinction, Starfleet quickly assigned the Courageous to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers to allow the spaceframe to be fitted with other experimental technologies to allow for testing within normal conditions experienced by a Starfleet vessel before being transferred to more generalized exploratory missions as her equipment became more standard. Recently, Starfleet Command reassigned the Courageous to the Starfleet Department of Logistics to serve as a designated transport for equipment and personnel to the Maelstrom Sector.
U.S.S. Landstuhl
	Assigned to the Starfleet Medical Corps as a Hospital Ship, the Sutherland Class Starship U.S.S. Landstuhl has had a storied humanitarian career. Constructed at the dawn of the 25th Century, the Landstuhl was one of the first vessels launched in the wake of the Frontier Day Tragedy and was sent on a long-term exploration mission of the Beta Quadrant along the rimward boundary of former Romulan Territory. During these multiple five-year missions, the Landstuhl was able to make successful contact with over a dozen new civilizations before being transferred to Starfleet Medical due to its customizable nature. In this role, the Landstuhl has helped to resolve multiple galactic medical crises and has been instrumental in stabilizing the continued challenges on worlds along the former Romulan Neutral Zone. Recently, the Landstuhl was reassigned to the Maelstrom to serve as the primary hospital ship for the region in support of Deep Space 12's mission.
U.S.S. Nostromo
	Primarily crewed by Vulcans, the U.S.S. Nostromo is a Le-matya Class Starship that is assigned to Colonial Support duties for the New Holland and New Vulcan colonies. Initially designed as a patrol craft with enhanced weapons, fast targeting systems, and high-resolution sensors, the Nostromo frequently moves equipment and personnel between the colony worlds and offers scientific as well as medical support. Unofficially, the Nostromo is attached to Starfleet Intelligence and is utilized to monitor neighboring powers within the Maelstrom.

U.S.S. Sulaco
	The Le-matya Class U.S.S. Sulaco was designated as a patrol craft within the Maelstrom with the mission to provide criminal interdiction responsibilities within the more lawless regions of the Sector. Well-armed and outfitted with enhanced sensors and targeting systems, the Sulaco was instrumental in defending the Maelstrom, specifically the Ascella Star System, from Kzinti pirates and slavers. With its powerful engines, the Sulaco was recently redesignated to serve in Crisis and Emergency Response duties due to the growing number of challenges experienced in neutral regions of the Maelstrom.
