Mission: Atlantis
Location: Outside of Sickbay
Timeline: 2429-12-02, 14:10 hrs

"Walk with me Commander." Jasmine said, she was starting to make her way to their security office. She did not want to talk out in the open. But she needed to talk to him. So was trying to debate what to talk about, while they waited to enter the office.

“Yes Commander,” Patton replied moving over beside her. He wondered what was up but he would find out soon enough anyway. He had already given his people notice on what he expected from them, he was certain they had listened.

"Sickbay is pretty impressive looking bay, wouldn't you agree?" She asked him, trying to make small talk. She was not very good at this. She wanted to talk about the mission, but it would be best, to do that in her office.

“It is,” Patton agreed. “I was surprised at how much more efficient it is than my last assignment. It is important we have the best possible.”

"I'm still trying to get use to being on the USS Enterprise, and Starfleet One when the president is aboard." Jasmine said, as they continued to walk down the corridors.

“I have a feeling it will take me a while as well,” Patton nodded. “This is my first ship assignment as well so I have some other adjustments to make.”

"Never thought, I would serve on this ship. Did not think I was worthy of it." Jasmine said, she was still down on herself. She needed to snap out it.

“Are you kidding me!” Patton declared. “One of my concerns was meeting your standards, you have a good rep.”

"Patronizing the boss, careful now." She said with a smile. It was nice of him to say, but deep down, she felt that way. No matter what he said, at this moment was going to change that.

“I don’t say what I don’t mean,” Patton returned. “And I can’t make you see yourself the way others do, you will have to find a way to see it for yourself.”

They walked into the office. She secured the room, so they could talk freely. "The mission is pretty straight forward, a babysitting gig." Jasmine said, as she took a seat, and motioned for Patty to do the same.

“Done that before,” Patton said as he sat down. “Sometimes they are and sometimes hiccups happen along the way.”

"We need to have contingency plans for those unforeseeable hiccups as you call them." Jasmine said, as she started to pull out a data pad.

“It depends on what we perceive could happen.”

"We are one on one the most secure ships in the fleet, we need to think, what weaknesses do we have on this vessel and how to exploit them, so we can prepare for them." Jasmine said to Patton, she was seeing if he agreed.

“Excellent plan,” Patton nodded. “And if our visitors have a different agenda that will be what they are looking for.”

"Exactly, so here is what I was thinking." Jasmine said, as the scene starts to fade, with them strategizing.
