Ensign Tarl Tarran woke up hanging off his bed. The glass of Aldebaran Whiskey was so strong that he felt a marching band of Klingon yodellers were going threw his head. Carefully he rose and walked to his medical kit and whipped up a hangover hypospray, one injection later and he felt it was only one yodeller now. Hopping into the sonic shower for a quick cleaning the Ensign dressed and hurried out toward medical, hoping that he could follow the directions given to him by the Admiral after he recieved his drink last night.
Carefully he poked his head into Medical, his thoughts clouded by his disdain for the Crewman who cost him the job but as the Admiral said it would be best to get his job back so he could work with him for there shared goals. Announcing at the door to Medical, "Doctor Marner. I have come to apologize and humbly ask for my job back. My zealousness and focus on regulations clouded my humanity. I am sorry and would like to discuss with you in private if I may return."
Cyrus raised an eyebrow at the fact the Ensign was back, and second of all, he had been allowed to come in. He must have forgotten to give the medical staff notice not to allow the ensign access back into sick bay.
"I had given orders for you to leave sickbay, and not return." Cyrus remarked. "You have not shown any compassion where others are concerned especially towards someone who has the right to be here. Under the by laws of this station and the orders of those in command here."
Cyrus rose from his chair and walked towards the ensign. "Now, I will personally walk you towards the exit of this establishment, and I do not want you to darken my doors again." the blonde haired doctor sternly responded. "Did I not make myself clear last time. That wasn't an idle command I had given."
Tarl put his palms out in front of himself as if to try to keep the Doctor from tossing him out a airlock or the like, "Please Sir, I have learned my lesson. Please I just want to prove myself, I can work from a closet if you so wish. I." He thought back to what the Admiral said, "Please Sir, I just want to be a... good boy."
The Ensigns words seemed similar to the mantra that Melly said, likely a coincidence but he continued, "I did wrong, but have you never done wrong when you were first out of the Academy? Please I beg you to give me another chance. I'll be a... good boy."
Cyrus pinched his nose at the bridge, wincing. The young Ensign was stating a fact. He had looked at the young man's records, and they were actually good. "If you do your best and do more research into being a bit more compassionate and not go by what the news stories and other media is spouting off then, perhaps you can come back. Mark my words though I will be watching you. Your behaviour made me rather concerned, it showing the lack of compassion you would needing to be had."
The Ensign lowered his head and nodded, "Yes Sir. I will work hard and try to improve my bedside mannor and compassion. I will also stop eating up anything the media says. I will go back to work now Sir, but if I may. Do you want me to go during my off time and apologize to Crewman Melly?"
"Apologize for what? Did you do something to her while we were inside talking about her situation?" Cyrus's eyes flared wide, giving the ensign a piercing gaze.
"I just.. wanted to apologize for my lack of humanity boss. Nothing more. If you think she was out of it at the time and I shouldn't bring it up, then I can understand that. I just want to be a... good boy.", the Ensign tensed and relaxed any time he said the words.
"Do not approach her, please, she will be in the care of someone." Cyrus replied, something was nagging at the back of his head, but couldn't put his finger on it yet. The ensign seemed to have changed but, what that was he's not certain. "Okay I will reinstate you but, if you mess up, this is your one and final chance, Ensign and stay away from Crewman Melly. If you want to succeed."
Tarran bowed his head and then slipped off to go about to his tasks and responsibilities, but not before saying. "Yes Sir.". Then he was away.
Over the communication system an alert was called, "Counselor R'elle to Dr. Marner, could you come to my office please? I have a patient who could use your help."
Cyrus feeling abit alerted left to the Counselor's office.
