| Description | Due to the importance of the mission of Starfleet One the Admiral frequently needs to be close to the Bridge either day or night. Located on Deck One, the Admiral's Ready Room has been designed to incorporate both relaxation and work space for the CO of Starfleet One and is based upon the cabin design for Senior Officers aboard the ship. Compartment One features the Admiral's Desk. This desk features built in library computer access and priority linkages with the command functions of the vessel. Directly adjacent, below the window, is a sitting area for the Admiral to use when meeting with guests or for relaxation. Compartment Two is mainly used as a strategic space for planning and briefing actions involving small groups. The table has a built in holoprojector that can be used for communications or to simulate tactical operations. Additionally, the Admiral may use this room for dining purposes when the formal dining lounge would be inappropriate. A large fish tank is incorporated into the wall near the door holding the Admiral's pet shark Requin. Compartment Three is a sealed compartment that provides the Admiral with a bedroom for his use during emergency situations where he cannot be far from the Bridge. A private restroom is adjacent including a sonic shower unit. |
