Next Mission: Gaia

In the days prior to the Dominion War the crew of the Starship Defiant encountered the unthinkable: a mysterious world populated by their own descendants! Known as Gaia, the planet was colonized after the Defiant accidently traveled 200 years in the past and crashed into the surface due to an anomaly surrounding the planet. Learning about their children's children, the intrepid crew of the Defiant decided to fulfil their destiny and travel back in time to ensure the colony's survival. Heading toward their fate, the Defiant suddenly veered off course and narrowly escaped due to the intervention of Constable Odo. While the Constable's actions saved the love of his life, he chose to eradicate an entire world to do it.

Decades later, Starfleet has returned to the Gamma Quadrant and on the forefront of exploration is the Starship Enterprise. Temporarily transferred to the Federation's Department of Temporal Investigations, the Enterprise's crew have been asked to return to Gaia to learn more about the mysterious phenomenon that threatened the Defiant. One of the only ships that can successfully travel through the barrier, upon arriving the crew are shocked to find the Defiant stuck within the quantum energy barrier. A lifeboat holding the last survivors of a civilization lost to time, the Enterprise crew must decide whether saving the survivors is worth the risk that it will cause to the timeline.
