Physical Description		Lex is a well conditioned woman both physically and mentally, She is very introverted, smart, and stoic. A tenant of the way she’s trained herself both physically and mentally is never to betray one’s emotions, nor allow anyone to influence her. She is well trained in combat but she is by nature secretive. Hiding her true goals behind a soft smile. But never treacherous.

Personality Overview

Personality: Lex is never egotistical. She is a woman defined by her house’s creeds. To live the best life, and to face each new challenge with grace and dignity. Discipline is as natural to her as breathing. She is adventurous though, craving the next challenge. She is honorable though, but make no mistake. When she has to do something that bends the rules, she will do it. But the rules bend with Lex, they never break.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Lex is smart, healthy, and disciplined. But she is very introverted, on the level of a Romulan. She talks when she needs to and dislikes bluster and showing off. Her actions speak for her, but she is not the best at her social life and communication is challenging for her. She keeps things to herself, along with her innermost thoughts, but it is not keeping secrets. She just believes that no one should have the right to manipulate another. She can sense a lie a mile away, and nothing infuriates her more. Also, Betazoid’s recovery from the Dominion Occupation has been long and difficult. She has no love for the Dominion, and she views another Dominion War as an inevitable considering the chaos after the Frontier Day incident.

Hobbies: She has an avid interest in Astronomy and views herself as an explorer. She is also proficient in martial arts and close quarters combat from her training in her house, and she is always looking to improve her sword fighting techniques. She has an interest in high fantasy holonovels and comic books, and she’s somewhat of a nerd. She likes clothes.

History

Personal History		Alexia Toryn is the second daughter of Matriarch Alessia Toryn and Asnov Ehou Toryn. She and her sister were born in a difficult time for Betazed after the Dominion war when the Great Houses of Betazed had been ravaged. The matriarchal society was decimated by the Betazed occupation, and the peaceful society that was in place before the war had been shattered. Alexia grew up with stories about how the Dominion had experimented on telepaths and oppressed Betazed. Alexia and her sister Sera are of an new generation that loathes the Dominion. She is a scientist yes, but Alessia has training in close quarters combat, martial arts, and strategic thinking from the very formalized military training her house offers. But also her family practices training of both body and mind. But still there is the shared memory of the brutality of a Dominion occupation of her world, and the suffering her people endured as the Dominion tried to break them into worshiping the founders as gods. It has been difficult for the Federation to reconcile the hatred Betazed has towards the founders, and it was not just conquest. The Betazoids remember it as rape of both their bodies and minds. Forgiveness has been few. And a new militaristic generation of young Betazoids that have been raised through House Toryn concerns many in the Federation. Alessia had a relatively peaceful childhood, but always was the reminders of the war around her, always she had to look at her grandmother, who was experimented upon by the Dominion, and realized why she kept on forgetting her name. It angered Alessia every single time. But still, Alessia had a natural curiousity about science and the world around her, she was truly gifted in understanding the world around her. Her instructors noticed that she was committed to two things. Science and Betazed’s protection. Alexia has served in various scientific and intelligence roles since the academy. Note to CO: Alessia Toryn is on a special assignment from Starfleet Intelligence to gather intelligence on the Vorta Representative to the USS Enterprise.
